Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: 19 October 2026
Theia is shared by a small group of people, and some of what it runs on (the captcha and bot-check solving services, and the pool of proxy connections) is shared by everyone. These rules keep it working, and fair, for all of us.
They are part of our Terms of Use. In this policy, "Theia", "we", "us" and "our" mean the Theia project and the people who run it. Questions go to legal@theiatcg.site.
1. One account per person
Your access is for you alone. One person, one Discord account, one Theia account.
2. Don't share your login
Don't let anyone else sign in to Theia as you, and don't give anyone your sign-in, your session, or access to a device that's signed in. If you think someone else has used your account, tell us straight away.
3. Don't resell access
Don't sell, rent, lend or give away access to Theia, and don't run tasks for other people in return for payment or favours, unless we have agreed to it in writing first (a Discord message from us counts).
4. Use the shared resources fairly
The solving services and the proxy pool are shared. If one person hammers them, everyone's checkouts slow down or fail.
- Run only as many tasks at once as you actually need.
- Stay within any limits we set, for example on tasks at once, tasks per drop, or how often you run them. We may set or change these limits at any time.
- Don't try to get around a limit, for example by splitting tasks across accounts or restarting them over and over.
- Don't try to see, copy or use Theia's keys, solving services or proxies outside Theia.
5. Don't abuse retailers' websites
- Don't use Theia to flood a retailer's site with requests, or to slow it down, disrupt it, or attack it.
- Don't use Theia to collect data from retailers' sites in bulk, beyond what your own tasks need.
- Don't use Theia for anything unlawful, including fraud or any kind of deception.
6. Only your own cards and accounts
- Use only cards, accounts, names and addresses that are yours, or that you are clearly allowed to use.
- Never use Theia to test cards, to use stolen or found card details, or to make a purchase you intend to reverse dishonestly (for example a false chargeback).
7. Respect Theia and the people using it
- Don't try to access anyone else's information in Theia, or parts of Theia you haven't been given.
- Don't try to break, overload, copy or reverse-engineer Theia, or to get around its security.
8. What happens if these rules are broken
What we do depends on how serious it is. Usually it goes like this:
- A heads-up. We let you know what the problem is.
- Throttling. We may lower your limits, slow down your tasks, or pause them.
- Removal. If it keeps happening, we remove your access.
For serious breaches, such as fraud, using cards that aren't yours, sharing or reselling access, or trying to get into other people's information, we may skip straight to removing your access, without warning. Where the law requires it, we may also report what happened.
Whatever we decide, we can remove anyone's access at any time, as our Terms of Use explain.
9. Changes to this policy
We may change this policy, including the limits in it. We will update the effective date at the top, and tell you in the app or on Discord about any important change.
